Let's start with Miss Emily... 3 years old! Wow! It really is hard to believe she is already 3. Each year, I take Emily to Mindy Graber for her birthday pics. This year, Em decided she was totally NOT interested! So, check out www.mgraber.smugmug.com and see-not much to choose from. (Eli on the other hand was happy to flash a few smiles). Would love to try again but Emily licks her bottom lip and it stays nice and red (looks terrible!). Maybe we will just wait and get some of her later. I thought about not ordering any but I think I am going to-showing her true colors at this age! :)
Just some random pics of Emily.

The Saturday before her birthday, we celebrated with a mermaid birthday party. We kept it just family and then Em wanted "BrayleeBrynna" and "AbbyEmma" too. Em had a blast! They lined up in order of age automatically, thought that was funny!
Birthday Buddies, Brynna and Emily. Brynna is a year older then Em.
Blowing out her candles!
Pinkie Ash all dressed up-enjoying the party!
Emily wanted to take a picture of daddy with her new toys! :)
On her birthday (Monday), Aaron had a tennis match so we dropped Eli off to Mamaw, then picked up Grandma Patty for a birthday dinner at Mi Pueblo, just us girls! She walked in and told Carlos "It's my birthday!" and held up her "tree" fingers! :) She was a little nervous when they walked out singing to her, but then she loved it and the attention!
Remember the fear of Ladybugs and Bubbles? This week we had WORMS! :) Don't worry though, after a few nights of Emily not getting to sleep until 11pm, this mommy (who likes to be in bed NO later then 10 and would LOVE 9) went and took care of those crazy worms! You see, I have been known to have lots of "SUPER SPECIAL SECRETS!" For example, "belly hurts" at 4 am, super special stomachache juice to the rescue... for worms, all it takes is some super special exterminator spray! :) Got'em! If only my super special secrets would work at school! HA! Then, it was so sweet... Aaron usually tucks Em into bed but this night after taking care of the worms, she asked me to rock her in Eli's room. So, we went and rocked and just when she was starting to drift off, she looked up at me, put her little hand on my cheek, gave me 3 big kisses and said, "Mommy" and off to sleep she went. :) So sweet!Emily has started going to AWANA and LOVES it!! I tried to use AWANA to help me with the potty training stubborness issue... well, on Wednesday's it helps, now what to come up with the other 6 days of the week! Goodness! Ideas? I am trying to be very patient... I know she knows how, she just has to make the decision. Oh well, one day she will, I guess (I hope!)
Remember Emily's nap house?
She thought Eli needed one too! :)

Well, I have a little boy who is hungry, so Eli's update to come!
