WOW! Thanks to all of you who commented with encouraging words on my last post! I appreciate it! You "blog" buddies are great!! :)

Aaron was gone this weekend to USI basketball camp with the BR boys. They did really well. I think both teams went 9-1 if I remember correctly, but if not they did really well and won most of their games. We went to watch a few games on Saturday...I think it is funny, we call ourselves the "coach's wives", but check out the "coach's daughters"...

Emily and Kara playing on the basketball court. The whistles and buzzers, they don't even notice, it's just part of what we do. Anyway, I thought the girls were cute playing on the court! We also managed to fit in a little shopping, which was fun! I can't believe fall/winter stuff is out already! AND, I can't believe that school is only a few weeks away! This summer has flown by!!!!

Speaking of "flying by", Emily is 10 months old! (yesterday) We are starting to talk about her 1st birthday party! :( I can't believe she is going to be ONE!

Aaron got home last night and then we were off to the VBS picnic. The kids did a really nice job. I had to talk in front of everyone about our winning "Creation" poster. You all know how much I LOVE talking in front of people!!!

I think it is ok for me to tell this... I hope so at least! My good friend Abby Armes-Baker is going to have a BABY!!!! Yes, there will be 4 little Armes' kids in the same class! Look out Kindergarten teacher!! (All 3 of her brother's and their wives are expecting)

She is due in February. There must be something in the water around here, because it seems like EVERYONE is pregnant! I will just take pleasure in announcing Abby's news for now (and hope I don't drink the water) haha!!! :)
Congratulations, Brent and Abby!

HELLO!!! You all were starting to worry about me, I bet!?! It has been so long since I have posted.... which means I once again have a lot of catching up to do. Seems to be the story of my life right now. Ever feel like your chasing your tail??

Ok, well since last week, let's see.... We'll just skip a few days and go to Friday the 4th of July. We had my parents and Aaron's family over for a cookout/Aaron's birthday party.
Emily with Papa and Grandma

Daddy and his All American Girl!
Brittany got a new puppy, a puggle! He is sOOoOO cute!! His name is Webster, Web for short.... Emily liked him but at times wasn't to sure about that little thing. She keeps telling me how much she wants a puppy!! :)HAHA!
As you can tell from the background (Jeopardy), it was a really exciting PARTY! :) HAHA!!
Playing outside with Grandpa!

I had to buy Sparklers! Not that exciting really either, but Emily thought it was kind of fun! She actually is probably laughing at how stupid we all look, gathered around like these sparklers are something special!! :) HAHA!!

Unfortunately ;), Emily went to sleep before the fireworks started so Aaron and I just sat on the couch and watched New York's fireworks.

Saturday, we went to Evansville with my mom and dad, just to go. I had a few returns and a few things I wanted to pick up. Then we ate at Red Lobster for supper. I started getting a cold earlier but it really got bad that evening. I went home and took 2 night-time cold pills because I was soooo miserable, couldn't breathe. Well, those knocked me OUT!!! I didn't even get up to go to church on Sunday and really didn't wake up until Emily and Aaron came over to the bed to say they were leaving for church. Slept until 11, got up for 2 hours, then took another 2 hour nap!!! I usually don't take 2 because I am sooooo sensitive to medicines, but I thought it would be fine! HA!

So, I worked Monday and Tuesday. Monday I had the most interesting day...of course I can't talk about it(HIPPA), but WOW! Anyway, it also was extremely exhausting.

Today, I am playing CATCH UP AT HOME!! (As you can see)....
As far as Emily goes... Saturday, Papa and Grandma bought her a new toy. Check it out! She's been walking all over and now she thinks she is big and doesn't want our help!! :)

SOOO BIG!!!
She continues to explore everywhere and gets into everything. I got a kick out of her today (like I do everyday) but she can't quite pick up her puffs or her cheerios and put them in her mouth, but she LOVES to eat them. So today, she scooted her cereal close enough that she could lean down and lick it up off her tray! SO FUNNY! Silly girl!

Just in case you didn't hear, The Knepp Family is back together. Mandi and Gabe are home. God is GooD!

Emily weighed in at 17 pounds even, 27 inches long. She is in the 25% in weight still, but moved up to the 50% for height! :) Dr. Rogers is pleased with how well she is doing.... needs to work on using her sippy cup better, clapping and waving are a few milestones she should accomplish soon, but other then that, she is sitting, crawling, pulling up VERY WELL. Good report on her today! That's all for now!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

Today is Aaron's 27th birthday! He celebrated his birthday doing one of his favorite hobbies: golfing! He golfed all weekend... Well, Friday he had the shootout, didn't do as well as last year..:( but Emily and I had fun watching. Aaron started walking toward us, getting ready to putt and Emily says, "da da". I thought he might have heard her *this is the hole he was eliminated* but he said he didn't hear her! Anyway, here are some pics of Emily ready to go to the shootout in her golfing shirt/hat.

Emily and Emily! I still can't get used to Emily Chambers with brown hair! They hadn't see each other since my Emily was about a month old, so Emily C. was surprised at how big she had gotten! Emily C. is a very good friend from high school, one of those girls, that we can just pick up right where we left off, probably because all we do is giggle and laugh when we are together!!! :) Dad and Emily C. are a part of the famous snake cake joke. That's a story to tell about on another post!

I had to work yesterday so Emily stayed with Papa and Grandma while Aaron golfed. Then today, Em and I went to church then just hung out here at home. This is her taking a nap, she was so tired, this is how she fell asleep. She doesn't look very comfortable!

Off to work tomorrow. Emily has her 9 month check on Tuesday, so I will be sure to post how BIG she is!! :) No shots this time, thank goodness! Until Tuesday....

Wow! It seems like these summer days FLY by!!

Shaya and I went to see Mandi and Andre last night at the hospital... Mandi was tired after a long day of therapy but managed to show off her latest trick with a smile! (She can bend her left leg up) She called today and said, "Guess what I did today!" She took a few steps while working with the parallel bars!! It was good to see them, good to see them smiling.

Emily and I slept in today! It was kind of nice. I woke up at 8:30 and was a little confused on the time... she never sleeps that late and ended up sleeping until almost 9! Anyway, for lunch, Aaron, Emily and I went to Mi Pueblo and then Emily, (I promise it was Emily!) begged her daddy to take her to the pet store! So, we went to see the animals. I have been working with her to say "pup-py". She sometimes will watch my lips and say "pu". It's so funny!

Well, we are off to the Country Oaks Classic Shootout tomorrow to watch the defending champion defend his title! :) Aaron won last year in a playoff against Randy Stoll. So, again he is playing this year. I remember when Aaron and I started dating that was the first one he had played in. He actually qualified to play that year. I say it is because I am his good luck charm, but he says I have nothing to do with it! :) Anyway, I enjoy going out to watch him. Emily has a shirt to wear...

and then on the back it says, "ASH". I am not sure how the "QUIET" thing is going to work for Emily but...we'll see! I guess we will apply some vanilla before hitting the course, so we don't get eaten alive by bugs. Seems silly, but everyone is saying it works! We'll see on that too!

Sorry, no new pictures! My memory card is FULL! You can imagine ME not being able to take pictures! So, I will be taking care of that tomorrow, because I HAVE to take pictures of Emily and her shirt with her daddy! :)
