Christmas Events
Wow! What a busy week! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Poor Emily was running fever on Christmas Eve from cutting teeth so she didn't feel very well. She hung in though and enjoyed the majority of the day. Christmas day she felt much better but still not quite herself. I think she had fun though! She started getting the hang of opening presents and got lots of neat things. Some of her favorites... a four-wheeler, Ming-Ming, and a big tennis ball! She, of course, loves books and got a lot of those. It was a busy couple of days for us with 5 places to go in 2 days...Christmas Eve morning we started with brunch at Pat and Sue's, then off to Paul and Arlene's for the Stoll Christmas that evening. On Christmas day, we stopped by The Petty's, then to the Kane's for the Ash Christmas. Mom and Dad came over for the afternoon and evening to our house and then my Uncle Gerry joined us for dinner. Most people know Gerry by "Doc", Emily said "Doc" at supper, it was so funny! Here are some pictures of our busy, but wonderful Christmas days. Hope it was Merry for you, too!
Please say a special prayer for Melba (she's like my aunt)... she fell on the ice the day before Christmas Eve and had surgery on Christmas Eve for a femur/hip injury. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Also, Congratulations to the Yoder's and the Knepp's on the new additions to the family! Enjoy the day!
