Bubbles and Ladybugs

No, not monsters.... BUBBLES AND LADYBUGS. That's what is scaring my daughter and making her wake up between 2 and 3 am and stay up for at least 1 hour if not 2! Really, bubbles and ladybugs. She thinks they will "hurt me", "hurt mommy", "hurt daddy" and on and on and on. They "care me" she says.... and will show them to me and even "touch them" at the end of her bed. But, when she wakes up she really is terrified and says, "Mommy, LAAAAADDDDYYYYBUGS!" I try to convince her that they will not hurt her, they are "nice bubbles" but she is not convinced. Any suggestions?!?!

Karson has been waking up in with bad dreams lately too.. not even sure what they are about he can't seem to tell me.. just cries and gets really upset.. usually a drink then tucking him back in seems to help.. I used to pray with Lillie when she would have a bad dream.. just stop and pray.. then we would wake up she would say mom please pray for this bad dream to go away.. seemed to help..(well of course it does) haha..

Bless it. Ay seems to be really weirded out by the ladybugs this year too, but not waking her up! Poor girl. Hopefully she'll move past it soon?

Maybe I should warn you that we are having a ladybug party this weekend and I was considering putting bubbles in the favor bags. Guess I'll leave those out of Emily's bag??? ; )

Is she still having bad dreams about bubbles?! Wow, they must really scare her! Poor little thing. Maybe you could get her a pretty stuffed ladybug that she likes...oh wait, doesn't she have a pink one? Maybe you could tell her all ladybugs are that sweet. :)

Yeah for basketball season, but boo that your hubby will be away from home so much!
